Two of our Filipino Visualizers, Zernan Suarez and Rhen Badando, attempted to create very informative displacement tutorial how to achieve realistic grass and rock materials. I should say, this technique works pretty well. Here are their tutorials.

ReplyDeletepara el material de pasto (grass) no veo necesario activar el canal de bump ya que el canal de desplazamiento lo tapa, por decirlo de algun modo
ReplyDeletehe probado un rato y llegue a la conclusion que al usar el texBlend, para evitar que el plano con desplazameinto se nos salga de control, es necesario:
1- no cargar textua alguna en el "Texture A"
2- En "Texture B", jugar con el "color A" para controlar la intensidad de desplazamiento (color A en blanco= desplazamiento acusado; color A en gris o negro= desplazamiento atenuado)

Thank you for the material, but I'm having a hard time getting it to work correctly. I have a large file and sometimes when I render it won't show the texture and then when I am able to get it to show, it levitates the layer? Any solutions for this? Thank you.
